What to Expect

Welcome to Anchor

Don’t worry, there isn’t a lot you need to know before you come to Anchor for the first time.  Our service times fit your busy schedule and we promise to take good care of your kids.  There is plenty of parking and easy access to the building.   Most of all, we want you to feel confident and comfortable when you walk into Anchor for the first time.  Here’s just a little information to help you do just that.

Welcome Video from our Pastor

Service Styles & Elements

We have services at 9:30 am and 11:00 am on Sunday mornings year round.   During the months of January – March we add an additional service at 8:00 am.

Worship Style
At our 9:30 & 11:00 am services we offer a worship style that utilizes a band and contemporary worship songs.  During the months of January – March, the 8:00 am service has a traditional worship style, utilizing hymns and other well known worship songs. Our worship leader, Robert Maxwell, leads both services along with a dedicated worship team.

Communion is served every Sunday in all services.   We believe communion is open to all believers and is the perfect reminder of Jesus’ love for us.

Offering is collected each Sunday and is a time set apart where members of Anchor can honor their commitment to the Lord and the mission of being the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus.

Where to Park

We utilize a lot of our grassy area at Anchor for parking, therefore, there are plenty of places to park.  The oval concrete drive on the west side of the building gives easy access to all parking.  We have a row of Guest Parking at our south entrance for our first time guests.  We also have a whole row of Handicap Parking with easy access to our main entrance.  These spaces give easy access to all entrance doors.

What should I wear?

Casual dress is the norm for all.  You may see shorts and t-shirts, you may even see a few suit jackets but  there isn’t a dress code at Anchor.  We just want you to be comfortable and hear the message of Jesus, enjoy your time with us, and come back again.  Come relaxed and just be you!
