Youth

Youth are Important at Anchor!

As we continue to build the youth program at Anchor we strive to offer a variety of programs and opportunities that will help them grow in their faith and understanding of God.

Sunday Morning

Nursery -We offer a staffed Nursery during both our 9:30 am & 11:00 am Worship services.

Toddlers – We have a class for Toddlers during our 9:30 am &  11:00 am Worship service that gives them a chance to learn about God while interacting with the teachers and other toddlers.

Bible School Classes for Elementary Youth – 9:30 am

Elementary Youth-  We have a class for K-2nd grade students and a class for 3rd -5th grade students.  Each class is designed to teach students about God  through Bible lessons that are relevant and interesting.

Youth Classes -11:00 am

Children’s Church – 11:00 am – Worship is important to kids and we have a worship time designed to help them worship God in a way that they can understand and enjoy.

Middle School-11:00 am-Bible class for 6th – 8th grade students.
High School-11:00 am-Bible class for 9th-12th grade students.
Both teen classes challenges students  to examine their faith and grow in their knowledge of the Bible.

 Wednesday Night Basic Training

Every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm we have Basics for our youth and serve dinner at 5:45 pm for them.

What is Basic? Building Active Students In Christ.  It is a time for the youth to connect with God and each other.

4th-6th Fellowship Center

Teens – 7th-12th  Room A in Educational Center.

 

Special Events

Activities – Once a month we try to have a special activity for our youth. These activities include things like ice skating, bowling, cookouts, swimming parties, etc.

Summer Church Camp –  Our young people attend Lake Aurora Christian Camp in Lake Wales, Florida.  Go to the camp’s web page for all the details:  Lake Aurora Christian Camp.  Scholarships are available to those youth who attend Anchor.  Contact the church office for a scholarship application.
