We believe in one God, the creator and sustainer of the universe, who is all powerful  and eternal (Genesis 1:1, 26-27; Romans 16:25-27).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.  He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), choosing to die on a cross for our sins (Philippians 2:6-8).  The death of Jesus Christ and His bodily resurrection from the dead provide the only ground for our forgiveness and eternal salvation.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit within us.  He has the power to convict, convert and change us.   He lives within us to comfort, guide, and enable us to live in ways that honor God (Romans 8:11, John 14:16-1 7, 16:7-13; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Galatians 5:22-23).

We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired Word of God. It is without error and it is given to us so that we may know and understand the truth of God and His love (2 Timothy 3:16-17).  We look to the Bible as the final authority on all matters of faith and conduct (John 17:17).

We believe that the Church is the gathering of God’s family on earth. Christ is the head of His Church. The Church, as a Body, is made up of many parts (people) who have become Christians through faith, repentance, confession and baptism into Him. We not only belong to God, we belong to each other.  Each local congregation is led by elders who are to lead the church as they deem appropriate in accordance with the scriptures (Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4).

We believe in baptism by immersion in water as practiced in the New Testament church.  It is a participation in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:1-8) and is a part of God’s plan for salvation (Mark 16:16).  Everyone sins and falls short of what God wants (Romans 3:23) but through Christ we receive forgiveness and new life (Acts 2:38; 13:38).

We believe in the unity of all believers We maintain the principles of the Restoration Movement.  We are not the only Christians, but we are Christians only.  We have no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible (Ephesians 4:4-6; John 17:20-21; Colossians 1:1 7-18).
